The biggest update in the new Venue lineup is the addition of Level 2 ADAS. This advanced safety suite includes features like Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Driver Attention Alert. These features make driving safer and smarter, especially on highways and in city traffic. Kia Sonet also offers ADAS, but Hyundai’s latest system is more refined and responsive.
The 2025 Venue’s cabin gets a futuristic look with a dual curved display setup — two 12.3-inch screens combining the infotainment system and driver display. Lower variants feature 10.25-inch screens. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while Sonet still requires wired connectivity. This gives Venue users a cleaner and more convenient experience without messy cables.
Hyundai has added a segment-first Reclining Rear Seat in the 2025 Venue. This feature allows passengers to adjust their backrest for a more comfortable long-distance journey. In comparison, the Kia Sonet’s rear seat is fixed and less flexible. With this addition, Hyundai clearly focuses on comfort for family travelers and those who prefer road trips.
The Venue now comes with an upgraded 8-speaker Bose premium sound system, enhancing the in-cabin experience with richer audio quality. The Kia Sonet offers a 7-speaker Bose setup, but Hyundai’s additional speaker provides deeper sound balance and clarity. Combined with the improved cabin insulation, the Venue offers a truly premium feel.
One of the most practical new features in the Venue is the addition of Side Parking Sensors. Along with front and rear sensors and a 360-degree surround-view camera, these sensors make tight parking spaces safer and easier to navigate. Kia Sonet lacks dedicated side sensors, giving Hyundai’s compact SUV an edge in urban driving safety.
Hyundai has added an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Hold function — a feature missing in the Sonet. The Auto Hold automatically engages brakes when the car stops and releases them when the accelerator is pressed again. It’s especially helpful in bumper-to-bumper traffic, reducing driver fatigue and making the ride smoother.
The 2025 Venue continues to offer multiple engine options, including the diesel automatic variant that many compact SUV buyers prefer. This versatility, combined with its new features, makes the Venue a stronger package overall. While the Kia Sonet remains stylish and powerful, Hyundai’s latest update delivers a mix of technology, comfort, and convenience that sets a new benchmark in its segment.
